Ah advance critique? Hmm well it's hard to give since this looks so stylized. Are you going for the whole light wash watercolor look? I don't get the feeling you were looking for a more tonal piece. That aside I do believe you could have lightened the bug's face. His chest is lighter than his face, and if his face were lighter your eyes would be drawn more to that. Which would be better considering the bug's face is the focal point. But that's my two cents.
