First off, check out the other variation on this idea: Christmas Carry WIP 1 [link].
OK. So. This one is what happens when I print an unpainted version of that with an HP inkjet color printer onto some Avery Watercolor textured Photo Paper (Avery #53230), and then paint those four in different ways: different inkings, some with colored pencil additions, mostly using Winsor & Newton and Jackson paints. This paper was really fun and sturdy to paint on. Of course, its me, so I took months between painting episodes (no one mouse was done in one session, although the red ornament mouse was finished first). Then I scanned that sheet back in, each mouse into its own TIFF file, and assembled those 4 plus the original scan of the pencil work into one string image. I didn't clean up any background differences at this point, because the purpose of this image is to ask questions. I really hope y'all will answer them...
OK, still with me? Great.
Looking at these 5 mice, and the previous 4:
Thanks!!

Looking at these 5 mice, and the previous 4:
- What works and doesn't for each? What can be changes?
- Which, if any, mouse is/mice are ready to be a Christmas card?
- Which, if any, mouse is/mice are almost ready, and if almost, what's needed?
Thanks!!
