Gah. Color and me are Just Not Good Friends. I either can't see or can't execute, or more likely both.
I like the foliage until I did the trunk. Now I like the trunk. They don't match and I don't know why and can't fix it unless someone please can explain what's wrong here.

CommentsI know I'm no expert but, I like it! In fact I can't wait to see it all finished. Don't be so hard on yourself. Enjoy the whole process of creating; I think you're a wonderful artist.
I think it looks fine as it is, but if you want to change it then you could try using some of the colours from the tree trunk as shading for the leaves.
You have used a variety of colours to create the trunk, which looks great, but the leaves appear to be made up only of shades of green. That could be why they don't appear to match. |
