I had another idea for a birthday card, after I realized that Beware Imps Bearing Gifts [link] wouldn't work for this person. It's long after the birthday now, and I'm only just maybe finishing this. But I could still really use some advice.

You can see the progress above, from sepia ink (Staedler ink pen) and watercolor to more watercolor to adding colored pencil. What have I done right? What can I still improve or change (I've got more paint and more Prismacolor pencils)? What should I just do differently next time?
