Description

For International Fairy Day; ink and graphite on 60(?) lb. smooth Piccadilly sketch paper.

Now wondering whether to color and how (digitally? with paint directly on this wrong sort of paper? print on watercolor paper and then paint that like I did with "Coffee, Coffee Everywhere... and Not a Drop to Drink"?)

Of course, if you're following my page on Facebook, Whimsical Dreams Art, you already saw this! Figured I'd occasionally give sneak previews over there.

I think this is a very cool idea, a fairy soldier, I like it, this is a very good drawing, there's some things you could do to improve it, but I think it's very very good.
First of all, I like how did you draw the figure of the fairy, yes, it seems very human, except for something, I don't know if you were looking for this but look, the legs and the shoes are larger than the other half of the body... I don't know if you were looking to do this because, like this, it seems more like a comical fairy, but if you tried to do the fairy like a real human, you should measure the body.
Secound, You added a lot of shadows, yeah, it seems more dark, more powerful, but you added too much, all the parts are monotonous, you put lights, but they are so tiny, the shadows are in a lot of parts of the pictures, you should add more lights to the picture.
Last of all, the planes, I like how you did them, I'm not gonna say: "that planes aren't for wars", but I like it, it's original, the way you put them inside a circle, yeah, I like it, maybe you can put them in all the picture, and then, it would looks like more majestic, more spectacular...
I think you did a great job, I hope to see more art of you!
